Does anyone knows a cheap hostel in close to the Venices's railwail station?

There are hotels right around the corner from the termini.  Once you come out of the termini take a left one block and you will see a sign with the names of a few hotels there.  We stayed at the Hotel Abbazia.  They to have a webpage, but I would call to negotiate the room price.  I loved this hotel.  The rooms were small, but well appointed - flat screen TV's, internet access, phones, etc.  The bathrooms were wonderful, the staff kind and helpful, and the breakfast to die for.

In Venice there is only one youth hostel and it is on the island of Giudecca, not close to the train station.

Try Edelweiss hotel, 2 stars, at walking distance from the station (2 minutes away)
