Does anyone knows about volunteer programs related with wild life conservation?

I would like to do a volunteer job in Africa, with any organization that works with monkeys or felids.

The African Wildlife Foundation (first link below) has some of the most far reaching and engaging programs on the continent!  They are well respect, having done some ground breaking work in protecting habitat and helping endangered species.

One of the programs they have that I really respect is the "Adopt African Acres" effort (see second link).  What a great idea!

Still what might be a perfect fit for what you are looking at doing would be the Jane Goodall Institute.  "We have the choice to use the gift of our lives, to make the world a better place," said Goodall once.  Her institute's link is the last below.

you could try Doctors without Borders they may be able to direct you to a worthwhile organization friends of mine did work in Zambia with the World Mennonite foundation also try the Red Cross they may have info on appropriate groups
