The Crab in Chieveley is fantastic, quite pricey but the food is top notch.

I would reccommend the Esseborne Manor, it's on the Newbury road on the way to Andover. Lovely old manor house, great location and good food too. Rooms are big and well provided for in case you want a nice romantic night away they've got some rooms with 4 poster beds :)

You are only about twenty miles from Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, near Oxford.

The food is wonderful but I found the waiters rather s****.; presumably because I do not have either a recent Rolls Royce or a degree French wine production.

It is a restaurant that you must visit once before you die.
