My boyfriend's son is in LOVE with trains, he studies train maps or all lines and he's 6 years old, so you know what he's going to do when he gets older. lol But I wanted to know if they have any fun place to go where a child to be an conductor for a day. It would be a real treat for him to do something like that. Any ideas please let me know. Thanks!

  1. I found this link. Talk to the people there at the museum, they might be able to arrange something for you if it's the child's birthday or some special occasion. It's sweet of you to be so loving toward your boyfriend's little boy.

  2. sorry FRA will prohibit this

  3. No one would allow a 6 yo to be a conductor for a day on a live train.  It just isn't safe.

You might try the NY Transit Museum in Brooklyn located at Boerum Place & Schermerhorn Streets.  They have lots of old subway cars on display (the museum is in an old closed subway station).

I think he'll have a lot of fun (you would too).
