Does anyone knows why the light had gone out last night during the KKR and DC game at Eden gardens?

it reminded me of the last world cup, such a shame that the game nearly end up in a draw, hope it wont happen again as it lost momentum to some players, and you can tell that some players are unhappy about it, it's a destruction.

The BCCI did not purchase the flood lights for the lucarative IPL.

As it was too dark to play cricket there the groundsmen showed mercy on them and switched on the lights.

The maintenance of the eden gardens stadium has taken backseat ever since dalmiya and mukherjee battled out for CAB elections.Hope things will improve in near future.Anyways Eden gardens is always a fantastic stadium to watch cricket.
