I tthink it is a crock....but would listen to someone who had real results.

What I'm guessing you're referring to is the use of 8 in this year's Olympics.  For the Chinese 8 is a lucky number.  I don't know off hand why the Chinese consider 8 to be lucky but I have heard that for other cultures 8 is lucky because of it's likeness to the infinity symbol.  (you know, an 8 turned on it's side)

8 is   saturns  number . folks  born  on  8 th, 17 th and 26th  of  a month  come  under  this. either  they  do  very well  in  life  or just  ordinary(  exremes) .
