We know the Obama supporters don't like Bush, and it seems like all the McCain supporters are saying, "No, don't worry, McCain's not like Bush."

.....Uh, how did we ever elect him TWICE as our president?!

  1. 2nd time Bush lost the popular vote and Gore won it,but Bush had more electoral college. So, technically the people chose Al Gore, but Bush had more electoral college so, he became President again.

Some people still like him. =/

  2. His ratings have been going up and I think he's getting ready to get better with the planning and efforts he's showing for this hurricane gustav.  Not to mention he'll probably get some residual bumps from McCains VP choice.

  3. Remember Bush had to steal his first election.  There is enough evidence of fraud in 2004 to call his second election into question.

Still he does have adherants but they grow fewer and fewer over the months.

McCain is only 90% like Bush, so there are some differences.

I would say you might find one or two million Bush supporters out there but they are the far extreme of a bell shaped curve.

    Obama , 08

  4. Diebold.

  5. John Kerry got swift boated and Republicans chose party over country.  Now we are all paying for it.

  6. I like Bush and support him and his administration.

    I also will Vote McCain/Palin 2008...

Please don't give me another Clinton

  7. Yes; I like Bush.

He is a good president, and will be remembered as the President  who won the war in Iraq.

  8. History will call president Bush a pretty good president.  Not a great president, but pretty good.  If he would have shed his liberal ways in some areas (illegal immigration and spending like a liberal), he would go down in history as a GREAT president.

McCain is not like Bush in many ways.  He is more liberal, but his VP choice balances that out quite a bit.

Either way, McCain is not a racist, socialist, Jimmy Carter clone, fool.

Joe...My brother is a reporter (radical liberal to boot) and was involved in the recounts.  He would have loved nothing more than to inform me that Gore actually won.  But in every scenario, Bush still won.  There was only one scenario that Gore closed the gap.  The one he was illegally suing to get, he closed the gap by SIX VOTES!  SIX VOTES!  So STFU and get over it by now!  No matter what would have happened, BUSH WON THE ELECTION!

  9. George Bush was only elected president once by the people of the United States. The only reason he managed to win was because John Kerry was the democratic presidential candidate. What was the dnc ever thinking?

  10. i agree he has run a terrible presidency.

but he is a good person. you cant hate him personally. i dont hate him personally, but i do think he should've done more to help the country (and even still he does not).

  11. John McCain.

    Wait, that was last year.

  12. Well, McCain isn't like Bush.  I think that Bush has a good personality with a good sense of humor, but I don't agree with some of the choices he's made as President.  He relies heavily on his aides.  I didn't vote for him either time.  I was mad that McCain didn't get the nod way back, so I didn't vote in that election at all.  I was one of the dummies duped by John "Family Values" Edwards, I am sorry to say, so I voted for Kerry/Edwards the second time round.

  13. i tink bush goot presidenti

  14. many don't realize , media talked people into voting Bush , same thing happens right now, media want us to vote Obama and it looks like they succeed, the question is : who is behind media? how come until the begining of the election  media was republican and all of a sudden  democrat.

  15. I do, Bush acted on the intelligence that we had and got rid of Saddam and has held the course in the face of constant criticism.  Sure, he could have done things differently, but he took the heat and now we can say that things are looking up in Iraq.

On economics, he has not been very effective in influencing the government to reduce budgets in many areas. That is a problem with me as well.

However, compared to the alternatives, I feel that we certainly made the right choices both in 2000 and 2004.

  16. I do not LIKE Bush! And we elected him 2 times because there are more Republicans than democrats out there.

  17. Because slightly more than half ( if you believe Bush won fair and square) don't live in the here and now.  They live in an idealistic place where things are back in the 50's.

Magical thinking has gotten us two terms of Bush.  If we get anymore these proud Americans are going to be blinking in disbelief at what this country has become and that they sold a rich powerful country down the river with their denial.

  18. Let us not pretend that his agenda is any different than the others....they are all the same.  The difference is only in the rhetoric that they use to soothe willing ears.  George Bush is real d**n conservative huh?

Enemies of the American people one and all.

  19. I have nothing against the man personally. I don't wake up everyday angry and pissed off like so many people on the left do. My life in general is pretty good compared to most people around the world. He might not be the best, but he is definitely not the worst. I'm just tired of listening to the spoiled little leftists brats who do nothing but p**s and moan when in reality their life is pretty good by in large. After all they could live in grass hut like Obama's brother.

  20. yeah, I think the mans heart is in the right place, despite his limitations. I voted for him both times and have come to appreciate his resolve. It would have been all to easy to bow to immense unpopularity and criticism, even among his own party, and pull out of Iraq before the tide was turned....but he stayed the course. He refused to let precious American blood be spilled in vain, he refused to compromise American honor and reputation by quitting, and he refused to let down the people of Iraq....like we did the Vietnamese.

Yes, he has over-spent and he is a handicapped orator, but he did install 2 Constitutionally sound and conservative Supreme Court Justices, that will likely serve us well for decades. The implications of that alone cannot be overstated....for Bush or the next President.

  21. Don't look at me. I've been wondering that for years. I can't believe he won the first time. the second time 9/11 dropped the country into a state of regression and paranoia that made us ripe to be exploited by fearmongers.

  22. lol no one likes Bush and those who do would never admit it. Bush was elected twice because our other option wasn’t much different. Plus, Americans don’t tend to fight for the best any more. We kinda just say "Ok whatever", but now we see that we actually have a better guy trying to be president and it's about da** time!

  23. I don't hate the dude but lets just say he's not a top or even a friend on my myspace page LOL.

  24. Yes.

  25. LOLGEORGEBUSH.
