What are the pros and cons and did you like working there?

i can't really answer without more specifics, as this is a broad area, but i can tell you that most big mfg. corps use the sales dept as entry level into the company. if you look at the top execs in many top firms, you will see thay started in sales. sales enables you to learn the company's products and customers, the competition and the marketplace. it is an excellent place to start in a company or industry.
