I think its beautiful! As many have said it has a very peaceful feeling about it, and despite what others have said I dont think it sounds like Avon or could even be remotely confused with Avon. I think it has more of a Celtic sound to it, very pretty just as it is.

That's a cute/original name! I want to name my baby (if it's a girl) Kennedy Lynn/ Kennedy Marie/ or Kennedy Jade. I get negative comments from people, but I don't care. I want my daugther to have a not so common name. As my name is Jasmine. I know a lot of Jasmines...even one guy lol.

Not thrilled with it, but it's not the worst I've ever heard either.  It's very close to Avon - a makeup company.  What about Avendale?  I don't know.  Just trying to dress it up a little more.  :)  Kudos for your creativity!

I really like the name Aven..If I have another daughter some day I might use that name its alot better than what my nan suggested for my daughter she suggested Ashlee when my boyfriends surname is Lee and then the middle name to be Avis which reminds me of a loaf of bread! In the end I named her Stephanie Rachel Lee.

I like it and the "experts" say easy first names make for smarter children. Have you thought of any middle names to pair it with. I like Aven Elizabeth.
