Brooke is a girls name and Brooks is a last name of what I usually think of as an old man as well as Ford.

Brooks Ford, for me, has old man written all over it which isn't so flattering.

I can see the appeal in the spelling similarities although the flow isn't so good since it's only 2 syllables for 2 names.

It makes the name stop to short in my opinion.

It's really good that your putting a lot of thought into the names of your boy(s).
