Does anyone live in Bury, Greater Manchester? Or know anything about it?

I'm thinking of moving there and I want to live nearer to the town centre, but I don't know what some of the areas are like. Which parts are nicer to live in? Where are the rough areas? (i.e. where most of the youths hang out, crime etc)

Bury is a really good place to move.  The area is above average, not the best.

Whitefield  (south of Bury ) mght be a better area to move to in term of safety.

But Bury is a fun place to be in, you can party there or you can take the tram to Manchester and part in the city centre.
