Does anyone live in Florida? Or know the area?

Hi there,

I live in Ohio....so I'm really not familiar at all with the Florida area. But my some of my band members are going down there for a performance and for this talent scout type thing....well we found really cheap plane tickets but it makes us stay and extra week....right during my best friends birthday! I was planning on doing somthing really nice for him...but I figured we'd be at home. We are flying into the "orlando" airport, and are staying in that town. Now he really likes jazz...or swing...dancing of some sort. This year I was going to rent out a local jazz bar that has a dance floor and everything but that can't happen.

I know I couldn't rent one, but is there any jazz bars with a nice dance floor area in orlando? We really didn't want a "bar" type atmosphere either, most of us hate the smell of cigarttes, etc. I found one on google but the dance floor wasn't maybe 2ft x 2ft. We have 6 members plus 4 friends coming so it would be a fairly large crowd...any suggestions would be great!

I lived in Fl for 15 years- but in Southern FL, However- Several years ago I went to a great place in the Disney Parks for adults called "Pleasure Island". You pay one price to get in, and you can go to many different types of bars and dance floors until you find the right one.

Also- I'm fairly certain that Fl has adopted the "No smoking" in any public building policy- so no worries about the smoke.
