Does anyone live in the Haileybury/Temiskaming area?

I'm moving there soon for school in September, and I have no idea what's up there.

It seems like such a boring place.. does anyone know if there's anything to do during times of boredom lol?

If Kirkland Lake will be nearby, thats a nice town.

I have visited there, but I do not live there.  The area has about 10,000 people, so it is not a bad size.  It is the sort of place where you will get to know many people very quickly and you will also quickly find things to get involved with.  And you can also do all the same things you can do anywhere else in Canada - read, computer stuff, go for walks, volunteer, get a part time job, start a new hobby, work out, etc.  Believe that you will have fun and you will.  Best of luck.

Not too much there , I have been there but never stayed but its awesome place in the summer . Lots of fresh air and lot of time for you to study .Good luck
