i was wondering when you text someone is the government or someone reading it

  1. Maybe. I guess it depends on what you are texting... or WHO you are texting. The point is, they CAN see it, but they probably don't care unless you are a person of interest.


  2. It's possible.  Anything you text or email can be obtained by law enforcement, even things you thought were deleted.  The government can get anything they want, but unless they have a reason to read your stuff, they are supposed to be busy doing more important things.  When I find out what, I'll let you know.  Just kidding, Dad!  

  3. umm, no unless someone goes onto your phone and looks in the messages sent folder, but you could always delete the message from there. So no worries.

  4. You've been watching too many movies.

    No they don't. If they did though, they would be monitoring calls too.


  5. you never know - i guess it's possible for government computers to scan text & email for key words
