  1. Pontoons are powered by outboard engines. You can buy any pontoon boat you want and then you can buy an outboard jet to attach to the pontoon. You can check out Yamaha jet outboards here http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/pro... I wouldn't recommend an outboard jet for a pontoon because they're less efficient and will make slow maneuvers much more difficult. Good luck!


  2. No.  Boatbuilders don't manufacture engines.  You can order your pontoon boat with the powerplant of your choice.
