Does anyone need a babysitter?

i am a 12 year old girl turning thirteen in october who lives in westhampton beach. i am looking for a job that has children 2 and under. i would like to go to the persons house and babysit and i have helped my moms friend who owns a daycare or used to and she said i was an awsome help so i have great experience with kids and when i work with kids it makes me feel good and i have fun too.

At 12 you're way too young to babysit babies 2 and under.  DO you know what to do in an emergency?

And another thing if u have to be 13 to even be on this site why are 12 years olds on?

this isnt the best place to post a job ad darlin, i you never know what kind of creeps will respond. i suggest that you check in with some people from your mothers friends place to see if theres any times when theyd need a baby sitter when day care is closed. as ur moms friend im sure she wouldnt mind you doing that. id also go through her and your mom to find jobs. your more likely to get one that way! good luck!!

Umm sorry i'm not under two lol but i think you should put up signs around ur neighborhood and maybe put one up in a convenience store put ur phone # on it n everything i live in arkansas and know i'm not a hick! umm my mom and dad own a convenience store! i'm 11 and really really wanna babysit when i'm 12!

hun, you definately don't have enough training, I work at camps and daycares that take care of kids up to the age of 12, I'm sorry but I don't think it's safe to hire a twelve year old when many of them need babysitters themselves.

I started babysitting when i was twelve but why did you post this online? really? you didn't even put where you live. I would offer to moms you already know or if you know their kids? But don't try for anything younger than three. Sorry but you are just a bit young for that and i don't want you to embarrass yourself. Speaking from experience:)

As a mom, I don't think that I would let a 12 year old care for my son unattended and definetely not one off of YA that I didn't know. Why don't you ask adults in your community that you know, or know your parents if anyone they know need a "mother's helper", and you can help them out in their home while they're their.

i think its cool that you want to babysit and no one is probably going to do it off the internet you should post stuff up on bulletin boards in stores and stuff like that and as for the age thing im 13 im a guy i babysit for a 3,5, and 7 yearold every weekend so you should try that
