Question:

Does anyone need a free, high-end, electric breast pump?

i have a medela, in style, backpack, electric double pump. it is an amazing pump, and i believe they cost about $300. when i had ruby, i had incredible health insurance, and i got the pump for free. as such, i can not really sell it -- that feels dirty, considering i was lucky enough to get it free. i know some people are grossed out by used pumps, but, seriously, i used it for only 5 weeks before ruby developed digestive trouble and was switched to formula. in addition, i cleaned it meticulously every time i used it. and it really is an amazing pump. we are not having any more biological kids, so i am certain i will not need it. please be considerate of others and respond only if you really need it -- meaning if you are strapped for money and your insurance will not cover it. beyond that, first person who is willing to email the address and pay for shipping (shouldn't be much): it's all yours! (so that i can be fair, respond here first -- to the question -- and then we can get info via email.)

  1. Darn wish I would have seen this question sooner. Its so nice of you to be willing to give it away for free.  You are truly a blessing and will only be more blessed in the end.

  2. I don't need it. I have one myself but I think it is awesome of you to post this! What a very charitable mommy!!

  3. Absolutely!

I am pregnant with my 3rd baby, 1st two babies were twins and I could have used this a year ago but lol I would REALLY be able to use it now!

I'm a SAHM and I don't have a lot of money havining twin 15 month olds.

EDIT:  No worries!  I'm sure Andrea can use it too!  I might not even need a pump anyway being a SAHM.  :-D  I had to pump with my twins but I didn't have a good lactation consultant supporting me.  I think it's more necessary for a working mom or a student mom to have one!

    Best of luck Andrea.

I also agree, VERY charitable and kind of you.

  4. Thanks for reminding me. After I read your question, I thought about the same pump I have just sitting in my closet. So you inspired me to give away mine. Good to hear there are nice people like you in the world :)

  5. i do! i need to wean my daughter because im going back to school.

pretty please? thank you! it really would help me out.

    =]

    EDIT:

i agree with everyone else on the fact that you're willing to give it to someone and not sell it. you dont really see much of that anymore =]

  6. I don't need a pump ... but I just wanted to comment on how nice of a person you are!!! Most people would be selling it to make money, instead of being kind and honest, and offering it to someone who really needs it!!!

Wow, you put a huge smile on my face :-)
