  1. Providing Hatton beats Juan Lazcano and Mayweather beats Oscar De La Hoya then yes in Spring 2009 at Wembley.

  2. No there is no scheduled rematch at this moment but Ricky Hatton is scheduled to fight Juan Lazcano.

Floyd Mayweather will fight Oscar De La Hoya in a rematch in september

  3. well if it did and at welterweight it would be a different fight to the first but unsure if ricky could do so but at light-welter i say yes and ricky is more than good enough to unify the light welter as long as he thinks the same otherwise if he keeps moving weights then no !as for mayweather well good on him for winning at so many weights his body is able to unlike some ! and ricky would like to sometime in 2009 but only at l/welter

  4. tentatively scheduled for 2009 spring time. Being the intense interest on this side of the Atlantic and the other there talking about a potential 50M purse each.

Nothings confirmed yet but Mayweather camp are giving it serious consideration.

  5. There's nothing planned, and no mention of anything. Hatton has already announced his next bout.

  6. No the first match was pretty decisive.  I think until he can no longer make the limit Ricky will stay at 140.  His 2 trips to 147 have not gone well.

  7. Never again man Floyd destroyed hatton and would again and again But it was a good fight and made alot of money but not enough for them to have a rematch

  8. it is being talked about for 2009 at wembley stadium, richard schaefer admitted to it recently that they have discussed it

  9. no there is nothing scheduled right now and I don't think there will be. Hatton is not ready to rematch floyd

  10. I read something this morning where Hatton said Joe Cortez kept him from winnig the first match.  They alluded to a fight in London next year.  But i think Money will beat him just as bad the next time around.  The fight wasn't close at all, Cortez did a fine job of keeping Hatton from grabbing onto Mayweather.

  11. No, Not In the near future, mayweather is fighting dela hoya($)

There's no money fighting hatton right now, he has to build himself up, because mayweather just owned him last fight.

  12. I hope so considering Hatton was screwed by Joe Cortez and his terrible decisions.

  13. It is no where near official, but both Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. have been open about the possibility of a rematch.  Hatton has been delusional lately saying that Cortez kept him from winning the fight.  The funny thing is that when Cortez reffed his fight with Jose Luis Castillo, Hatton said nothing.  You know why?  Because he WON!  Cortez reffed both fights the same, meaning that he didn't allow any holding, which is the way that it should be, but Hatton got owned when he faced Floyd, so he started to make up these excuses like most fighters do after they lose (its all part of the game).  Floyd has stated that he would go to England and fight Hatton, so that right there shows you that Floyd is interested in taking this rematch despite the fact that everyone wants to see him fight Miguel Cotto.  I wouldn't be surprised if this fight comes off next year because it is an easy money fight for Floyd and it is another chance for Hatton, even though the result will most likely be no different from the first time around.
