Does anyone now how can i unlock my keenwod radio?

i have recently bought me a car that came with an aftermarket kenwood radio model kdc-x889 but recently i left my lights on during the night an my battery died now i cant use it because it asking me for a code probably the previus owner put it but i dont know how 2 unlock it. the dealership doesn't know either.

is there any way i can unlock it or can anyone unlock it?

yeah, i have a kenwood manual, but its for a x492. if you can provide a model #. Or go to kenwoods site and download the manual. Go to deactivating security code. That will give you the option to clear the previous code and enter your own or none at all

Many Kenwood models have a master code that can be used to reset the security feature. It is entered using the remote control. See this.
