  1. 585 (or 583) is equal to 14K, 750 is 18K, 417 is 10K, 333 is 8K,

Certain colours of turquoise can be extremely rare, you may benefit by doing more research.Value is determined by colour as well as veining or marbling or lack of, and size etc. If it is an antique ring and is handcrafted native American Indian design, it could be valuable to someone that collects that sort of thing.

However, most of those rings were set in silver rather than gold.

  2. You may need to tell use as little more.

Is it gold and what markings has it got etc.

  3. You hav`nt given us many clues.   Its unlikely to be of great value though, as turquoise is not an expensive stone.

  4. I purchased a 15 carat gold locket and was told it was Victorian...so perhaps the ring is older than 30 years being 14...have you taken it into a jewellers and asked if they could identify all the marks for you?

  5. Try dating a bloke, he may buy you dinner!
