Hello, I'm Trot-n-colt. My family have been in Harness Racing since the 1960's and we continue to race horses today. Although my current position ( Racing Official ) prohibits me from owning or training, I have done both in the past. I love the Standardbred Horse and Harness Racing and always will ! Horsemen are not a dying breed, the business and the competition for the gambling dollar have changed our business. Unfortunately, we are not the only game in town any more, and attracting younger fans to replace the older ones is becoming harder and harder. Also, we are now depended on Politicians and Political solutions and not just our product. It is my hope that solutions are forthcoming to create a "WIN WIN" situation for all involved and those of us who love and race horses (Horsemen), and Racetracks can prosper in the future.
