  1. I don't think so.  I know gold has been found in Wales, but I don't think diamonds have been found anywhere in the British Isles.

  2. I read in a textbook yesterday that diamonds are very deep in the ground & are realeased from volcanoes.

  3. not to my knowledge ... Diamonds are found in metamorphic bodies called Pipes  or if they are alluvial meaning they have been eroded from the metamorphic rocks and have collected in alluvial and fluvial or near shore deposits .... and I do not believe any of this exists in G B

  4. The UK's geology is not suitable for the creation of diamonds

  5. I hear that Mucca mined some out of Paul McCartmey.

Diamonds are also a huge con.  They are not particularly rare, but De Beers only releases a small amount onto the market each month to keep the price high.

  6. They are useless and aesthetical.  It's the same as gold.  People have conned the simple people into departing with lots of their hard earned money for gold, diamonds and jewellery.  Only food is more important.

Also, people were exploited and forced to mine such metals and rocks... mostly blacks.  But many blacks don't realise this - especially the Bling types.  Some of their people died for that useless metal/diamonds - just to make the conmen rich and wealthy.

  7. They have not.
