Does anyone out there know of a faith based program low cost for a trouble teen? we need help

my son had adhd, now that he is 16 it has become impossible for him to remain in our house, we are looking for a christian based program in our area ( arkansas ) for troubled teens, and teen challage does not take them till age 18 HELP!

  1. I don't live in Arkansas, but the logical places to check would be your local social services office, church and  your state's Department of Health. They may not be "faith based" per se, but, in economic times like we have, you have to compromise. Perhaps you can pray together in the facility.


  2. Do you understand what they will actually do to him in places like that, which are not legally mental health facilities of any kind? Have you researched what actually goes on?

    Do you think that because a program calls itself "faith-based" that its values are even remotely Christian? All sorts of cultists and fringe groups throw the name of Christ around. Real Christians attempt to hold families together- never tear them apart.

    Which is what I absolutely guarantee will happen. If you think he hates you NOW, imagine him after two straight years of abuse.

    Before you sign up to have your child psychologically and physically abused, I strongly recommend visiting the below websites and/or finding a real psychological professional for any real problems he/she might have.
