Question:

Does anyone out there think it would be a good idea for the UFC to sign the Chris Hordecki to a contract ?

Horodecki was the IFL's Golden Child. He has explosive stand up. I'd love to see how he would stack up to Guida, Florian, Edgar, or Sherk. He has the type of fighting style and image that the UFC loves to promote. And he's in his early 20's.

  1. Depending on the price, he'd be a good pick up. He's not a top notch guy, only the hardcore fans really know if him so he's not someone they could easily market. Not to mention the UFC has done a great job of growing their own 155 lbs superstars. They should have signed Gomi. That would have convinced Penn to stay at 155 for at least one more fight, and he's the top of the line talent you can market. Hordecki is a decent fighter, but he's not famous enough to where the signing would make a huge impact, so he's not worth throwing a ton of money at.

  2. They probably will if he keeps winning. Rory Markham just had his UFC debut in UFC Silva vs Irvin. Markham is a longtime IFL vet. If he fights well in his first UFC fights then he might even become a challenge to BJ. Who knows!

  3. I see no point. He won't be a top tier compared to the semi-stacked lw division in the ufc.

  4. Faber is a FEATHERWEIGHT, not a Lightweight. How is this so difficult to comprehend? Lightweight in one weight class, featherweight is another.

  5. yeah definitly

and jman WWE is the biggest piece of **** eva!

  6. yea is last name has dicki in it why not UFC is terrible too Lets go WWE

  7. Yeah, I think he'd make a good lightweight contribution to the WEC lineup.  I don't know that he's ready for Uriah Faber or Diego Sanchez yet, but he has a good career ahead of him.

  8. I thought he was pretty good in the IFL.

It'd be nice to see how he does in a cage.

I agree with others that he isnt a big enough name to throw tons of money at, but he is Polish, put him in a Chicago show and you'd get a good gate.

  9. Yes, hes an amazing striker, and still is soo young!

I believe he only lost once in IFL, is quick, and does not tire down, even in the later rounds!

Plus, UFC needs another name in the lightweight division.
