Does anyone out there work for B&Q if what is it like?

My friend used to work for them and loved it.

She needed extra money so worked in the evening and at the weekend and made loads of lovely friends and the money was good too.

After you have worked there a while you get discount and they gave her good on the job training.

Guess its like any where though depends on the manager of a particular branch.

My neighbour worked for them as a manager and he ended up going off sick with depression.  They were understaffed and he was run ragged.

B& Q are one of the first trully 'non-agist' big companies and apparently they are exptremely good employers
