  1. I am Australian, I care.

  2. is that a band???

  3. Ashes series used to be the toughest and well fought cricket series between England and Australia when it started..  However, once the game slipped into one sided match and also the series between Australia and India and India and Pakistan have become more lively the interest in Ashes series hasn receded.  Further since the number of ODI matches and Twenty/20 matches have gradually increased, the interest in Ashes series has further receded.

  4. whats ashes?

  5. I'm in US of A, never even heard of them.  A cricket team?  I know cricket is big in the carribean.

  6. Um I don't and I'm English.

  7. I don't think anybody cares about a series which does not involves their own country team neither Ashes or India v Pakistan even World Cup Final

  8. About as much as I cared about IPL.  but  England V Australia

is the oldest International Cricket Fixture

  9. Do you mean there *is* anyone else playing cricket outside of England and Australia? :-D

  10. off course i m in india but i like ashes series very very much.

  11. I watched the Ashes for the first time the last time it was held in England (can't remember which year i was). This was the first time it was broadcast in Barbados and the series was great. In the caribbean we love cricket so much as long as it shows(for free) we'll watch no matter who plays.

  12. Yes I believe they do. It generates a lot of interest from anyone who truelly loves cricket.

  13. The last Ashes was pretty boring. And the one in 2005 was the most interesting series i have ever seen.

Basically, good competition is needed. If the two teams are equally matches and putting up good fight then people will be interested as they were in 2005.

But when one team is completely dominating the other, then it becomes very boring.

  14. whats that

  15. Proberly not..But you know what,not many Aussie's care about the IPL,so i'd say it's proberly even.

  16. I am an Indian and I love Ashes and I try my best not to miss any match

  17. Not really.  It used to matter before but nowadays nobody cares. There is too much cricket anyways

  18. no

  19. India  Vs Sri Lanka  is,..much better for us

    cheers~
