If so, did you have any problems with it. I bought one today, and i read online that some people had it quit working after a couple weeks. I need to know if it's a good product, or do I need to return it. here's the one I bought so you know what I'm talking abut:

  1. I bought the single pump and it just stopped working after 8 months of use.  I went and bought the double pump just last week.  I think it's a good product.

  2. I would only buy Ameda or Medela.  Anything else is an off-brand, and you'll spend a fortune on cheap pumps.  My SIL has had many cheap pumps, but my Ameda is still going strong.  Also, my college roommate was injured by an off-brand pump.  Like breastfeeding isn't hard enough, right?  ;-)

    Live and learn.

  3. I have that pump, although not the double version. I have had no problems at all with it. I was actually impressed that it did so well since it was so cheap.

  4. sorry, but i used avent hand pump with my first baby and it worked fine but was disappointed with the new gerber hand pump  with my 2nd child that i returned it the next day (although it was against the return policy).

  5. I have that exact pump (though I paid more for it because I didn't see it at Walmart) and I'm beginning to HATE it. I have been using it for a couple months and it's losing it's power. The side that actually takes that batteries or plug still works great but the other side hardly works at all anymore. If you plan on pumping often (I pump 5 nights a week), I would suggest getting a better one. Especially if you're going to be using it for a while. It was great when I first used it. But now, like I said, that one side hardly works at all anymore. So I need to switch which side gets the one with the cord and that defeats the purpose of a double pump. I'm going to be looking into getting a better one.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that if you lose a part from the pump, like the rubber horn thing, there are no replacement parts. I lost a piece to the pump and had to buy a whole new pump because I couldn't find a repalcement. I couldn't even find a number to call to ask about replacement parts either.

And it says it's quiet but it's really not.

  6. i have that one, but the single. it still works but sometimes the part thats plugged into the pump (not the outlet in the wall) is lose and i have to hold it a certain way for it to work. i suggest investing in a higher quality one, if you plan on pumping more than twice a week. (which is how often I use it)

  7. i have a single in that pump i hated it. It never had suction i could get little to no milk out of it. Now i had a manual lanisoh (not sure if spelling is right) i love it. If i could afford it i would buy the electric one. Also my aunt had the medale (spelling may be wrong) she loved it. I would not invest in the evenflo. Read the product reviews most people say they are bad. Invest in one that is realiable because once you buy it you can't take it back. Hope i was of some help. Here are the pumps i was telling you about. On the lansinoh i have the second one i would like the first one. Second one is the medela

  8. I have heard a lot of people who have had problems with them. When you get a breast pump you want one that you know will work really well. My husband and I had to sacrifice a lot to get a Medela, but to me it worked better than the hospital pumps. I am finished with it now, and we are still paying on it but it is worth it.
