  1. i don't have the bose. i can't justify the money spent on those. i do have the sony MDR-EX51LP  and i really like them. they really do a good job of blocking out outside sound and sound good to me. they sold in walmart for $40, but i bought them shipped on ebay for about $20. it did take a few weeks to get here, but worth the savings. it comes with 3 different rubber pieces to custom fit your ear opening. if i ever destroy these, i'll buy myself another set. i knew these would work for me, because i have what seems to be the exact set earphones for my sony ericsson phone, but the ones that come with my phone has a short cord because the male end plugs directly in the handsfree microphone cable which then after anoher 1.5 feet plugs in to the phone. overall, with a big smile, i really like these. it's not too much money to invest and see if you like them. if it does the job first of staying in your ears, that's the most important thing. remember if you get any bit of sweat in your ears, all earphones will probably find a way to back out of the ear canal.

  2. i have them and there extremely good soundwise, but not the best for running.

i have sony headphones (the ones that have the little thing that go around your ear) for running. i dont worry about them getting messed up and they still have a wonderful sound and i got em for 10 dollars

i'd get both if i were you!

Those babies are pure bliss,i walk and run with those.

They reduce noise so much I almost got hit by a car though :/

  4. I prefer the V-Moda Vibes.. Bose isn't considered to be as good as other manufacturers like Klipsch for true audiophiles.  The Vibes deliver a lot of bass and they are pretty sleek..
