The RushCard is similar to all other prepaid card when it comes to pay-at-the-pump.  You have to have more money on your card than you plan to pump.  Typically Rushcard requires an additional $50.  Also, Rushcard is really expensive when it comes to fees.  As a matter of fact, the RushCard is so expensive, you are better off finding another card.

    I suggest getting the Bank Freedom prepaid debit card http://www.bankfreedom.com  -  I've done a lot of research on the subject and their card is by far the best.  They have no activation fee and there is no monthly fee if you have your paycheck directly deposited on the card.  You can load them with Green Dot MoneyPaks at a heck of alot of places.  They work just like a credit card and there is no credit check or bank needed.

  2. I dont have one, but if it's anything like a MasterCard gift card you probably have to go inside and have the clerk run it as credit instead of paying at the pump.
