I own a scooter... a Kymco.  I would recommend these over Piaggio and Vespa primarily because of parts availability should something ever happen.  From personal experience, it can be very difficult to obtain parts from piaggio (piaggio also makes vespa) you could also take a look at Genuine Scooter Co and SYM.

The best on the market with out paying for a big j*p name are KYMCO's they are rated the best in the world next to Piaggio and Vespa. and better than Honda Suzuki and Yamaha

Vespas are very nice. Kymco, Genuine, Yamaha, and Honda scooters are good scooters and all pretty reliable.

What scooter you want depends on what you want to do with it. A 50 cc scooter will only get up to about 35mph. The mid-size scooters (110-150 cc's) will get you to 50mph or so, and the larger scooters can get up to 65.

hi i have baja sc150  but i like  to get aprilia scarabeo 100 nice  scooter 16 in wheels looks like a great scooter hope this helps
