My father would like to own a truck company but does not know where to start, could you give him any advice please

Well it depends on what type of trucking company. If you are talking big rigs you either need to start as an owner operator or start a business with a bunch of trucks and hire drivers. You need a source for loads which isn't to hard to find.

You need facilities of course to keep the trucks if you are an owner operator and some place to keep trucks if you hire operators. You will need a loan if you want to start up, either way, but those business plans can help with that end.
