What to do when I land or pass on the space that says "PAY £20K"?

I am playing The Game Of Life twists and turns..with the electronic lifepod..I dont know what to insert in the electronic lifepod..please help me... and what does K stand for??

The K stands for thousand, so that's 20,000 pounds, and you're supposed to insert the ATM card thingy.
