Does anyone put whipping cream in their coffee?

I was just in Europe and seemingly everyone does this instead of Half & Half, which it seems that most people in America put in their coffee.

I put whipping cream in my Irish coffee.  Regularly I drink it black.

Everyone says it's an "acquired taste"...why BOTHER when water is so yummy?????
