Well i've heard many people say that L.A. does not have any sidewalks or anything and everyone just uses a car. Is that true? Or can you really walk in L.A. too?

  1. Yes, L.A. has sidewalks.  I live in Orange County about 35 miles south of L.A.  If you move here make sure you get a job near your home or a home near your job.  It can take well over an hour or two to get to the other side of town.  Just be worried about stray bullets and driving into the wrong side of town.

  2. Yes, people walk in LA.  There are sidewalks everywhere.  In downtown and certain other areas (like Westwood), walking is the primary mode of local transport.  In other places, it is less common, but people still do it.

I can't think of any roads in LA that don't have sidewalks, but who knows, there may be a few.

  3. We have sidewalks, but if you plan to live here, you'll need a car. LA is just way to big for a biker or walker.

  4. Yes, because there are many people who use sidewalks. People walk their dog, walk to school, walk to work, and many more reasons to walk.

    Good Luck!
