Does anyone realize that according to Fox News the only other job she has had?

Please go to fox News and type her name in; according to them the only other job she has ever had is a sports reporter. They list a few items that she and her husband has bought over the years. Now I wonder how owning a snow mobile or a few sports items is going to fix the problems in America. Talk about a real idiot way of doing things. Looks like John McCain is up to no good. I wonder what the Fox is up to now; or does he think that America can't see the only reason he picked her is because of her looks!

Please. McCain didn't just pick Palin to appeal to women & disaffected Hillary voters. She's a perfect Republican candidate: Budget cutter, NRA member, pro-life, mother, son in Iraq, corruption fighter, Global warming not man-made, pro drilling ANWR...the list gets longer every day. And little of it appeals to a liberal democrat women, dont you think?

In MY opinion, she has much more experience and more qualified then nopompazz... She is more of the "average American" then nobama Her husband is a commercial fisherman, and she also fishes, hunts moose etc... is a lifetime member of the NRA.. doesnt support abortion and has strong religious morals... Yes this is the type of person we want, not someone that thinks hes God and is all pomp and glitter! Agrees with you suthrngal!

You can't really say this about Obama..

The ONLY reason McCain picked Palin as his running mate is to demean women by believing they're too stupid to pick on their own terms and they'll only pick McCain BECAUSE he chose a woman to be his running mate.

That's completely insulting. I can't see any reason other than that for McCain to even consider her. Sure Obama picked an older white male to appeal to people but Joe Biden is a wonderful man with tons of experience which is in some respects what people felt he was lacking. BIDEN STILL BRINGS SOMETHING TO THE TABLE.

The ONLY thing Palin brings is her VA-JAY-JAY. She's a woman with no experience and McCain is trying to appeal to a younger crowd because of her age and to show that he's "OBVIOUSLY" more liberal than anyone originally thought.

edit** Not jealous, I have one of my very own. :0) I just don't see any other reason for her to be his VP other than the fact that she is a woman and McCain is trying to collect the undecided Hillary voters. I think people should stop comparing her to Obama, and compare her instead to Biden, who is in the came situation as she is as the VP. Yes, it's quite obvious that Obama does lack some experience, but in my own standards, I think that's a good thing because he's still closer to the people and knows that we as the people want from our country. He's already filled the experience hole by choosing Biden, what hole did McCain fill, and why?

I think it was an excellent choice. Let me be the first to point out that every question that pops up here demeaning her demonstrates a variety of things in particular, the fact that you folks are deathly afraid of her and you realize that she has a danged good chance to become your next VP.

It's interesting to see just how hypocritical many of the left wingers are. Many point out inexperience and yet, are running a man for president who has less experience than she does.

You attempt to point out her weaknesses and apparently haven't bothered to read that she fights the system, regardless of whether or not it's the Democrats or Republicans.

I just saw someone leave a link to their blog, depicting her as a cartoon character and putting her down by stating that she's not like Hillary. If I placed a cartoon character of Obama on a blog, that same person would probably call me a racist and a hater.

Lastly, we don't want a Hillary type, we want a woman who will fight corruption on both sides of the fence, regardless of political affiliation, just as she has successfully done in her own state. And let me add, we absolutely do not want any extreme left wingers infiltrating our party and ruining it like they have the Democratic party. The Republican party is not a party for socialists.
