Does anyone really care about Alaska?

and can you actually count governing Alaska and being mayor of some Alaskan town no one has heard of experience? Does that give Palin any respect whatsoever?

Yes, I care about the people in Alaska; they are Americans too, but being mayor of Wasalia is not impressive to me.  No offense to any Wasalians, but we're talking about VP here.  I'm most concerned that she does not have foreign policy experience.

Umm considering Alaska provides the natural gas that heats your home, the oil for the gas that runs your car, and the energy that provides your house with electricity.....I should hope so!

No, and Alaska doesn't give a d**n about the Continental U.S. either.  Those people hate to even be reminded they are part of the U.S.  I love these people trying to put up Palin's Alaska experience, and her mere 21 months as governor up against Obama's experience in Washington.  Oh yes, let's put a VP who knows less than zero about any foreign or national policy matters because she never sets foot in D.C. next to a man that could easily kick the bucket and leave her to sort out what she's never even experienced.  There's a real good plan for a country on two, about to be three, war fronts and going into a major recession.  Have the Republicans lost their collective minds, or is it just McCain that has totally lost it?  I suspect it's more than McCain, since the Republicans in this forum are desperately trying to paint her as more "everything" than Obama.  Of course they don't care in what areas.  Apparently, to them, being an expert on Alaskan policy translates into being cognizant of national and foreign issues.

I care about Alaska and the other 56 states...oops! I respect her for going after fellow Republicans for corruption. We could use a lot more like her on both sides.

All most Americans care about is drilling for oil there.  Hardly anyone actually lives there.  Being its governor is not impressive at all.  The Palin disaster will doom McCain's chances.
