Does anyone really like Danica Patrick?

I don't like her AT ALL she was a brat after the Indy 500 and i think she is a mean, whiny baby.

If she were a guy she would definitely not be getting the kind of attention that she gets. I think female athletes like her make the rest of us look bad...yes I said it! She has a horrible attitude and trades more on her looks than her racing abilities (which are mediocre at best).

I think everyone whom has submitted responses is right in their own regards.  America - land of the free, home of the brave.

I think Danica is one of the IndyCar drivers that can be loved or hated, but cannot be ignored.  I do not have any particular driver/team that I follow - I am just a fan of IndyCars and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  From my perspective, I will say this -- I respect Danica Patrick.  She can drive a race car - plain and simple.  99.9999% of Americans today (over 300 million) would get beaten by her in a straight-up race.  To climb into an IndyCar, and go toe-to-toe with some of the best drivers at 225+ MPH, that takes courage, skill, bravery, ego, and a little luck.  She's shown she can win, she's shown she can be feisty, and she's shown she is VERY DRIVEN at her profession.  Having the supermodel looks - in her words - helps get her attention to her sport, nothing more.  The modeling she's done - that's secondary to her passion of racing.  It's helped sponsorships arrive, it's help notoriety, and it's helped open-wheel racing gain popularity over the last 3-4 years, esp. this year with unification in hand.

She has done a lot to sell tickets thats for sure, most of the guys love her. Also she is a huge motivation for up and coming young girls who'd like to be a open wheel driver someday.. I still think she will win some more races.. Yep she can be a brat or is it just hormones.

i met her when she wasn't as famous and she was nice but now all the media attention has gone to her head and she isn't so nice anymore.  I met her recently and she was a jerk.

shes the type of girl you'd love to sleep with, but wouldnt let her stick around to meet mom and dad... hot yes, everything else about her sucks.
