Does anyone really think Obama will end the war in Iraq?

I highly doubt it personally. He's admitted the surge has worked. He's gone from saying they'd be out in 2008 to we'll start withdrawing at a certain date to we'll see how it plays out.

I think he's playing politics as usual to get elected.

  1. It will depend on what the puppet masters want him to do.

  2. It certainly will take some time, to undo all the mess that the Bush Administration has caused.  I am sure he will do the best he can.  Some of us, would like to have our Family members back home, I don't know about you.  But, enough is enough.  Obama Rocks.  He has my vote, I can't wait until November 4, 2008.

  3. your other choice is more of the same mcain

  4. The CURRENT deal between the Bush administration and the Iraqi government has them out of Iraqi cities in 2009 and out of the country by 2011 (or 2012 can't remember).  It is highly doubtful Obama would stray from that plan.

  5. I think he can do it hopefully with tact . I am voting for him because 100 years in Iraq with mcbush is unacceptable ! Honestly both sides are playing politics so you just have to look past the gimmicks and vote for whose judgment you believe in .  A repeat performance of the failed bush administration by a man who voted 90% with bush but claims to be a maverick but wants to continue with this illegal war or a person who wants to end it . I am voting for obama i have no clue why any American is voting for mcbush . We need to be angry so angry and so tired that the same bs doesn't work on us . At least he wants to get out of Iraq so i am supporting him !

  6. I do!  When we  leave Iraq, the terrorists will migrate to Afghanistan and to Pakistan.  The Iraqi officials have been telling us us set a date and get out, Like a lot of Americans, Senator Obama wants to bring to justice,  those responsible for the planning and death of over 3,000 people in the WTC.  If we send the troops to Afghanistan, they will be looking for the that tall guy who lives in a cave, which is the main thing we need to do to avenge the deaths of the thousands of Americans and Iraqis who have died.   We also need to stop payment to Halliburton, KBR and all of the other war profiteers in Iraq!

  7. yes........with a loss.

  8. When our troops leave Iraq is really going to be determined in a security agreement we are currently making with Iraq.  This agreement will likely include some type of timetable for US withdrawal.  It doesn't matter who gets elected when it comes to Iraq.  Both men will do essentially the same thing, follow the security agreement we make with that nation.

  9. I'm a McCain supporter but I believe Obama would end the war in Iraq within his presidency, if he didn't, I believe the American people that elected him would most certainly want him out of office.

  10. As far as I'm concerned, Obama is a terrorist!!!  FACT: Barack Hussein Obama has ties to known terrorists and their organizations as well as affiliations with racist preachers for 20+ years.  FACT: Obama's upbringing was that of radical islamic extremists!!!  FACT:  Obama doesn't salute or pledge allegiance to our flag.
