Does anyone really think england can retain world champ status?

i think they have a chance now robbo has left..lets bring back the old style english way..i think the best way is to ground the ball and frustrate our opponents..i also think farrell could bring something to..watch out for him in the world vs safy game..to sum up..i think we can beat anyone .france will be tough..and of course the dan carter show will cause us probs..

I don't think Enland will have a chance of winning at the next World Cup. Definitely no chance at the 6 Nations. I'll be going to see some of the matches anyway.

New Zealand are unstoppable at the moment and will likely win the World Cup. However, Ireland are looking very strong at the moment and we can't discount Wales either. I reckon England just might finish last in the next 6 Nations!!!

Pessimistic? - Yes.

Realistic? - Yes.

Hopeful? - I hope so.

They can retain the World Cup but they will have to lift their game by at least 100%.

At the moment, the All Blacks are the best team followed by the All Black second team. Ireland and Wales are roughies as are Australia, France and South Africa. England are roughies but they still have a chance if things go right.

No, it's hard to see how New Zealand won't destroy everyone. And also the Boks, Aussies, Irish, Welsh and probably the Pumas, Italians and the Scots would also beat them.

Ireland and Wales have a better chance than England, the pumas are playing well, even Italy play better than England at the moment!

No, I really don't.  Even if we take the All Blacks out of the equation, there's still Australia, South Africa, France, Ireland, Wales and Argentina who probably have a better chance.

Its true that England can only improve..but bare in mind that we have gone backwards in the last few years, whilst almost everyone else has improved.

Retaining the World Cup is going to be very, very difficult..especially when New Zealand are just sensational at the moment.

I don't think England can retain the world champs status. Iam betting on New Zealand, Ireland or Australia to take over. If one looks at the current record of England, its not goin well for them!! New Zealand is a pretty good team!! and Ireland is also picking up!!
