i hope Rodgers starts. Brett Favre retired and should not even be playing right now. I think he will get traded to the viking for a third and fourth round pick.

No way!!! Ur the 1st i seen to ask this question and i can't wait to see the other answers....Brett Favre is the Green Bay Packers. Im not a Packer fan but im a Favre fan and if he wants to play again then let him. He has more love for the game then anyone.

Absolutely not!!  Brett Favre is still one of the two or three best QBs in the league.  Rodgers, even though he has been in the league for 4 years, is still an unknown commodity.

Why not?  The NFL is a business, and the Pack has a big investment in him, so they really need to see how he does... especially after waiting three years for a return.  If he isn't ready now, will he ever be?

Favre only wants back because he found out that the Packers aren't going to chase him down and beg him to come back, like they've done the last three years.  If he wants to keep up the act, fine, but he can do it from his living room.

And why should the Pack just release him?  Just like the Bengals' Chad Johnson.  They're both too valuable to just let go.  They both have Pro Bowl and MVP potential, not to mention multiple years on their contracts.  The Bengals knew that, and that's why they stuck it out.  The Pack should do the same.  So they want a "king's ransom" according to Brett, but why not?  It's bad business to just let go of a player of his type, or settle for a 5th round draft pick.  Get everything that you possibly can, if that's the route you choose.
