Does anyone reckon that if you give game companies ideas to a new game they would make it?

For example if someone wanted to make a game where you can build a zoo and place many different species of dinosaur in it (like jurassic park) and they wrote down all the main ideas that the game would feature and send them off to a big game company like eagames, microsoft etc... they would actually design it?

  1. I'm sure most software houses (games) wouldn't mind receving ideas for future games. They just might take you up on one.

By the way, your idea sounds interesting. Perhaps it could be an add on to Roller Coaster tycoon or something?

  2. like the idea send it off great make it please

  3. Possibly... but of course it would do you good to patent the game first so they dont steal your idea and make the game without having to pay you for the idea.

Also, theres already a game like that... Ever heard of dinopark?

  4. Probably not because game ideas take several months even years to create the depth of the story and the strength the story would probably have to be out of this world for developers to take any interest. Plus the developers would need to buy the story as developers won't go into deals with outsiders and won't share any of the profits. I am a trainee games designer if it helps, but the chances of this ever happening are like one million to 1. Sorry. Hope i helped.

  5. I think yes sure they can develop if they really have that kind of development team with them.

One such company is Icreon Game in India, you can visit the url and put your query directly to them.
