Does anyone recommend a Personal Tour Guide in Rio?

Hi! I'm traveling to Rio, Brazil in September and I'm looking for a personal tour guide while I visit. All the web-sites I've seen are for older guides; I was looking for someone closer to my age (35) who would be as familiar with the beaches and nightclubs as with the museums and historic sites. If anyone has a recommendation I would appreciate it.

    English, French, Italian and Spanish.

    Enjoy your trip.

  3. I have some friends than there. If you need help with something email me.

  4. I know a young tour guide in Rio.  He is probably around 30 years old and a good guy to hang with.  He takes tourists around the city and has very good knowledge of nightclubs, restaurants, etc.  He can also get you an apartment rental overlooking the beach or perhaps get you a deal on a hotel.  NiteOwlTX, you can contact me if you are cool and serious about hiring a guide.

  5. I recommend you contact BTR tours (Best Tours in Rio) they have a wonderful staff with young people and maybe you could hire one. Go to a well known agency, you might be conned if you hire someone from the street, tourists are easy prey in any country.

  6. Yes.  I would also recommend keeping a good eye out for child pickpockets.  They run rampart in Rio.

  7. Mariana tours   they are the best!!
