Does anyone remember Bananaman? How stoked would you be if a modern film version was made?

How weird.  I was just looking that stuff up on Youtube yesterday!  Only because I've started watching Danger Mouse again and they used to show Bananaman with it.  

Dunno, maybe this is the action hero Jake Gyllenhaal has been waiting for!

it could be fun so yeah, I'd like to see one made.

I think I would cast Freddie Highmore from Spderwick and Choc Factory ad Eric and probably someone like Gerard Butler (300) as Bananaman.

Brendan Gleeson (Lake Placid) as Chief O'Reilly and it would have to have the Graeme Garden voiceover or it just wouldn't work
