Does anyone remember Old School Pogs?

They were made out of thick paper. They were around when I was a youg one Around the mid 90's maybe... Some of them were Slammers... I think... Adding to that does anyone ever remember collecting Elf Pogs? It was this brown bear lookin thing... HE kinda had a mohawk hairstyle goin on.... I want to talk about it to my Nephew that thinks its the dumbest thing ever. I loved them!
