Does anyone remember kicker back in the day?

Question

Yeah im curious, which kicker amp and subs models where out back then, I'm only six teen years old and i gotta tell you guys that im and old skool kicker fanatic , I think there stuff now kinda sucks. so if anyone could tell me some details about kickers older products that woul be highly aprecciated, thanks alot =]

I liked a lot of the old Kicker stuff too.  The old round Solobarics were pretty cool in its time.  Long before the new run of shallow mount subs, you could put the old 8" round Solobarics in a .33 cubic ft enclosure, the 10"'s in a .66 cubic ft enclosure.  That was unheard of back then.  Worked well for me when I was younger because I didn't have to give up my trunk to have beats in the car because I needed the trunk space to haul all my athletic gear around.

i was just like you, admiring Kicker of yesteryear- but the new Kicker products are a lot better than the older ones

if you compare their old amps to their newer ones (excluding the last two years because i do like to KX line of amps over the newer ZX line because they don't have the internal cooling fans) there is no comparison, and their subs get better every year (even if the power handling does not change they consistently come with better materials that provide higher durability and sound quality)
