(Anyone who's was at primary school at least 5 years ago xD) Do you remember going to school in your summer dresses/shorts in Spring, just before Easter, and now we have SNOW!

I remember, I used to always be shopping for my Summer dress and sandals by Mid-March because it was too warm for me, and now they're all wrapped up in coats thicker than I'd ever contemplate wearing at this time of year!

  1. "Sometimes it snows in April" was a track on Prince's album "Parade" 1986;

we always glorify the past, whereas in reality the weather has always been mainly disappointing, which explains why it's our main topic of conversation in this country. There have been very very few white christmasses in this country.

we just remember the good bits, as barbra streisand knows...

    Mem'ries,

Light the corners of my mind

    Misty water-colored memories

    Of the way we were

    Scattered pictures,

Of the smiles we left behind

Smiles we gave to one another

    For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then?

Or has time re-written every line?

If we had the chance to do it all again

Tell me, would we? Could we?

Mem'ries, may be beautiful and yet

    What's too painful to remember

    We simply choose to forget

    So it's the laughter

    We will remember

    Whenever we remember...

    The way we were...

    The way we were...

I quite miss those pale blue police cars though

  2. Yes indeed.  The seasons were well defined by the weather conditions.  Now we seem to be enjoying weather conditions appropriate to all seasons during all seasons.
