Yes!  She was delightful, and extremely popular both on stage and screen.  The "The Wizard of Oz", she was first offered the part of the Wicked Witch, but felt it would hurt her image, so she chose to be the Good Witch, never dreaming that Margaret Hamilton would run away with the role of the Wicked Witch and make it a classic performance by itself!

She was also the mother of the groom in the original 1950 version of "Father of the Bride" and "Father's Little Dividend", along with dozens and dozens of other movies.
