Does anyone remember the cartoon character from childrens books in the 1980's "Penny and Kipper"?

Penny and Kipper was a children's book in the 1980's. Penny was the rider and Kipper was the naughty pony. I am looking for some picture or any information.

I don't know if this is what you are referring to, but there was a famous cartoon strip/book series about "Penelope and her pony, Kipper" created by Norman Thelwell in the 1950's or 1960's.
