the only thing that i can remember is that a group of kids sit in a circle one kid in the middle (the monster) one kid has to get up and sneak into the circle without 'waking the monster' up if the monster hears that kid he chases them shouting i am going to eat you and if he catches the kid then there are two monsters and the game goes on like that until there are no kids left in the circle. is that the game you are talking about?
