Does anyone remember the deep sea creature that washed up somewhere about a year ago?

I know its pretty vague but from what I remember it was a pale gelatinous colour, large head with milky white eyes. They suspected it was a female and were surprised that it lived to reach the surface, where it died shortly after. I'm sure there was an article on Wikipedia but I cant find it at all, driving me crazy!

You can find it on Unsolvedmysteries.com. It was a proven fake, though is still a very interesting article. From the website article, there are also several links to othersites that contain more info.
